If you have self-isolated with mild to moderate symptoms of COVID-19 and have recovered, you can discontinue isolation fourteen days after the onset of your symptoms as long as you have no fever for 72 hours without the use of medication and symptoms are improving. If you have had more severe symptoms and were hospitalized for COVID-19, isolation must continue until you have had two consecutive negative tests collected at least twenty-four hours apart. This testing can occur after your symptoms have improved and you have no fever. Be sure to follow the guidance of your doctor and local health department.
